Mr. Abid Ali Khan

Graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU-Hyderabad in 2003; GATE certified professional in 2003; Completed ECIL Sponsored MS (By Research) in Embedded Systems PG program from SASTRA University in 2005, wherein involved in developing UI and SNMP NMS embedded software design using RCM3000 on uC/OS-II for PDMUX project at ECIL. Involved in teaching embedded systems and research at TIFAC-CORE and demonstrated the keyboard-less Tamil to Hindi and vice-versa sentence translator with e-mail system design at CDAC-Pune in 2008.

Worked as technical system analyst at Mahindra Satyam - Aerospace and Automotive Center of Excellence lab at Chennai, focusing on project management through collaborations among the leading universities across the Globe with Indian OEMs, offering IT services through Mahindra Satyam in 2009.

Currently working as Asst. Prof. in Dept. of ECE dealing Embedded Systems, Computer Programming in C & C++ subjects for UG & Microcontrollers for Embedded Systems Design, RTOS subjects for PG students; Registered PhD from Osmania University on Routing protocol optimization of wireless sensor networks; Other than regular academics, involved in designing know-how prototype with students and fund raising initiatives through writing techno-commercial proposals of national importance.

Mr. Puneet Gupta

Puneet Gupta, who specializes in mobile computing, wireless technologies and converged digital experiences is currently spearheading mobility research and product development at Infosys Labs and heads the Infosys mobility platforms program. An acknowledged researcher and thought leader, Puneet is involved in conceptualizing and driving market driven research initiatives, generating intellectual property, and building product lines in the areas of mobility, social, wireless and pervasive computing. Puneet holds several critical patents in the areas of mobile, social technologies and user experiences with over 13 granted & sixty pending patents.

With first-hand experience in the R&D of several cutting-edge wireless technologies and systems, and backed by a comprehensive exposure to enterprise applications of wireless and mobile technologies, Puneet brings with him a complete and integrated technology perspective. Previously, he has held system engineering and architecture responsibilities in Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, where he was a key contributor to Lucent’s 2nd and 3rd generation wireless technologies program.

An avid writer and speaker, Puneet has over 100 publications to his credit for several reputed international journals, magazines and other publications and is a frequent speaker and panelist at leading technology conferences and tradeshows. He has contributed to several books and reports on themes related to wireless, mobility, pervasive computing, RFID and web-services. He serves the editorial and advisory boards of several industry bodies, magazines and journals and has been involved with multiple international conferences via their organizing and program committees.

Mr.Sanjeev P Varute

Mr.Sanjeev P Varute is presently working with IAV a German Automotive Engineering services company. He has worked in the Embedded field in various industries such as Automotive, Industrial Automation, semiconductor. During his career spanning over 21 years he has worked at various capacities in different organizations such as SPA, MphasiS, EDS, ALtran. He has a vast experience in building teams in embedded product development both  hardware & software, application development and Engineering Services for various client worldwide.
Apart from this he has been part of the Committee member of IT and ITES at Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and has been speaker at national and international conferences on embedded   He   was part of core member of the Task force to connect the Industry, Academy and Government setup by BCIC in 2012. He is a Fellow of the IETE and has done his BE in Electronics and Communication for University of Mysore.

Mr.V Shankar

Mr Venkatanarasimhaiah Shankar joined NAL in the year 1975. He had a B.E degree in Electronics & Communications from NIE, Mysore and M Tech in Instrument Technology from IISc, Bangalore. He superannuated as Sc-G on September 30, 2011 after a long stint of 36 years. He made significant contributions to fields of Experimental Structural Dynamics, Active Vibration Control (AVC) of Aerospace Structures as well as development of Smart (piezo, SMA) technology. He worked in many sponsored/externally funded technology development projects such as CAVITAS (NAL-HCL), AR & DB, AEW-TDP Aircraft (CABS), ALH Helicopter (HAL), DISMAS & NPMASS (ADA), LPSC (ISRO), MAV (ADE-NAL). Notable among his contributions are DSP based Multichannel Excitation System for GVT of ALH, in-flight electronics modules for AVC of smart (piezo) Aerospace Structures, Electronics System for SMA Actuated Aircraft Control Surface& Indigenous MEMS based Altimeter Sensor for Micro Air Vehicle (MAV).
